I like the look of the bulb. I was looking for an LED candelabra bulb that was full glass (no plastic base covering the lower part of bulb). And I like the warm color of the light. But these are not the equivalent of a 40 watt bulb. I replaced five 40w candelabra bulbs in a hanging light fixture with these bulbs and the room is no longer lit well enough with this one fixture. I like filament LED bubs when they are exposed. I use these in a chandelier and in outdoor wall fixtures. They are bright, dimmable, and the color temperature I like ( 2700K.)Candelabra bulbs that have a white base for the electronics and heat sink look terrible ( IMHO ) when you can see them.
