Fantastic bulbs. Look no further than these for direct … Fantastic bulbs. Look no further than these for direct replacements for your halogens. I replaced 50 watt halogens and the wattage dropped so much I had a transformer that would not function! Had to add ONE incandescent bulb to make it work. My other (newer) transformer handled the much lower wattage just fine. Was running about 800 watts on my dual transformers, now running just 80! These barely get warm in the heads.The good:Nice 2700K warm lighting. Takes at least one night…
Time will tell how long these last These are the newer model of these bulbs and they seem to be an improved model, more solidly constructed than the previous model. The light is every bit as bright as before. The unanswered question for now is how long they will last. The prior model bulbs were very inconsistent, some are still working two years later while a number of others have stopped working.
