A: We offer lights using Cree, Citizen . With respect to efficacy and efficient output, these are very similar. There are a few differences worth noting:
Cree does binning – Citizen do not. Binning is a method of categorizing LEDs by light output (lumens) at the time of manufacturing. We only use top BIN Cree CXB3590 (CD/DB bin) LEDs.
Although the Citizen CLU048 COB is physically smaller than the CXB3590 COB it’s electrical characteristics as well as spectral distribution is very similar to the CXB3590.
