Dimmer than Old-Style Incandescent Bulb I installed one of these shortly after receiving it in the reverse light in my 1979 Mercedes 240D. Not enought light intensity for my elderly eyes. and Not road worthy. Don’t expect these to illuminate your cars rear lights to a safe level.The light projected out the end of the bulb is Not the same luminance as a standard incandescent bulb.They are fragile. If you grab them firmly and twist them into the socket you may brake a few LEDs and loose intensity.If you have a place you wish to illuminate with a bluish white tint, and don’t need high intensity, and like the idea of using around 100 milliamps of current you might want to play with…
