Product Features
- Rotatable end caps: light forwarding angle can be adjusted by +-90 degrees to fit any light fixture.Ideal for 12-30V DC Automotive RV Marine lighting system,DO NOT put into 110V,check the voltage what you current have to avoid return or pop up.
- These 18″ led tube light give off great bright light and it was very easy to convert the old light fixture to use the new LED bulbs ,The removal of ballast and rewiring for the installation was very simple.
- Energy Saving. High Efficient Output (120 Lumen Per Watt). Save 80% on electricity bill of lighting comparing with the fluorescent light.
- This bulb replaces the common 17.75″ (450mm) T8(2/3″ in diameter) style bulbs used in 12V and 24V DC fixtures in boats, campers, and RVs. NOTE: This LED tube is ONLY for 12VDC or 24VDC applications.
- Fixture Rewiring is Easy but required: Electronic ballast has to be disconnected by qualified electrician.
Great LED replacement lights
no rewiring needed Replaced single bulb under cabinet fluorescents. Contrary to many of the comments (and the instructions that came with the bulbs), even though the lamp fixture have a ballast, the lights work with no rewiring. Not surprising given that the purpose of the ballast is to limit current once a fluorescent fires and LED lights draw very little current to begin with. I suspect light is not quite as efficient this way, but I am getting at least as much light from each LED bulb as from the fluorescent…
Great light with no hum! I replaced the fluorescent tubes in 4 under-counter fluorescent fixtures with these, and they are great! I like the color temperature, but best of all, no more ballast hum! The hum had gotten louder over time, to the point of annoying in our quiet home, and we were sick of it.These do require some rewiring of the fixture, to eliminate the ballast (and starter) from the circuit, which I was able to do easily: YMMV. Much easier and cheaper than replacing all four fixtures with LED…
