Let there be light! Installed these in are older farm house to increase the lighting. These lights mounted directly to my old work 18cu in gang boxes. I installed gang boxes to avoid needing the entire canisters which unnecessarily adds to the cost. The lights don’t generate heat and weight next to nothing so plastic junction boxes worked well. The lights come with updated wire connectors and installed quite easy. I have used other brands but these are simpler to connect and sit real flush with ceiling could skip…
Incorrect lumens listed for the 4000k model, but still good for pantry. The box I received indicated 1050 lumens vice 1200 lumens in the item description. The other stats were the same and also matched a box photo another user had posted. I installed it to replace a fluorescent light in the pantry and it worked fine as a flush mount with direct wiring connections.
