These things are pretty cheapy-cheapy, but really they look pretty nice. I like that the bottoms are detachable, and can be installed either on raised post caps or flat rails. I have mine on post caps; they are just a smidge big for my posts stay on well anyway. I do really like the look of these and when they are lit up they are really pretty. They give off great light, when they are lit up. But, there is the issue. The description of these says they are supposed to stay lit for 6 hours and then dim to a lower light after that. I have these in a spot in my backyard where they should be getting at minimum 5 hours of sun a day. Right now where I live it gets dark enough for these things to come on at about 5:30pm.
