Shunted Tombstone Installation Option:
You must use the dual-ended connection feature, wiring one end of the fixture to hot and the other end of the fixture to neutral.
Non-Shunted Tombstone Installation Options:
1) You may choose to use the dual-ended connection feature (recommended). For this feature, you must wire one end of the fixture with the HOT wire and the other end of the fixture with the NEUTRAL wire.
2) You may alternatively choose to use the single ended feature. For this feature, you must wire HOT and NEUTRAL wires to a single end of the fixture, the opposite end will remain as the dummy tombstone end for purposes of holding the tube in place.
Product Features
- ✔ BALLAST BYPASS. These tubes can be installed by a simple bypass of the ballast. Bypassing the ballast during initial tube replacement will save you both time and money as ballasts inevitably fail over time and will require replacement. Ballasts also consume electrical power and by bypassing them you will save even more on your energy bill.
- ● SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION. This tube installs directly into your fixture’s original shunted sockets (tombstones), which means you will not need to retrofit your fixture with non-shunted sockets. This tube is UL-Listed for installation with a single and dual-ended connection. Fast and simple installation under the functionality of your choice, this tube is designed with user experience as the defining motivator.
- ● CERTIFICATIONS: DLC-QUALIFIED which allows eligibility for state and nationwide rebate programs. UL-LISTED to avoid electrical shock and fire hazard. RoHS COMPLIANT (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) making our T8’s extremely safe. Additional Certifications: FCC, IES
- ● SHATTERPROOF. These T8’s are designed with a frosted shatterproof film protected glass housing which allows for safe installation in fixtures, with or without wire guards.
- ● 5 YEAR UNLIMITED WARRANTY. Parmida LED Technologies’ 5 year warranty provides you with ease of mind.
BRIGHTER LIGHT, EASY INSTALLATION, LOW COST!!! Finally some florescent light fixture replacement bulbs that are affordable and offer you more than one wiring option. The fixtures in my basement shop are all 4 tube fixtures with ballasts. One of them went bad and the other two had bulbs that needed replaced. I had the florescent bulbs because they are so easy to break and they don’t always last that long. The humming of the transformers after 20 plus years was also a nuisance!! I was looking for the best affordable solution. Parmida…
5000K 4ft dual end powered LED tube lights are the way to go. Removing the ballast is the secret. Beautiful, bright, clean, cool. Paid less than $6 per light tube. Bought the dual end powered 5000K 4ft LED light tubes.Replaced over 120 lights at my business so far. Still have about 100 to go. The secret is removing the ballast. Simply disconnect the hot & neutral power leads from the ballast and put the wire nuts back on them. Take care not to touch the hot lead. Clip the wires off at the ballast that go to the tombstones. Remove the ballast. Bundle the wires from the…
First fixture took 20min, then 5-10min for the rest I am very happy with this purchase. The bulbs are well made and were packaged nicely. Every LED that I have purchased for my home produces more âlightâ than its equivalent incandescent, fluorescent or CFL. I wanted to provide a little feedback in hopes of helping others with the conversion from fluorescent to LED. In general I prefer a âwhiteâ light (higher Kalvin 5000k) vs the âyellowâ traditional light (lower Kalvin like 3000k). The light output (lumens) from a frosted vs clear lens are…
