Both the lantern and the flashlight are very bright, much more so than I expected. The handles fold down and secure to the body of the lanterns for easy storage. Very bright. Handy for anywhere. These are great lanterns to use for camping or to use as an emergency light for your car, house or anywhere. The light is very bright!
