they are still glowing a bit at 4am! these are the brightest of all the solar powered led outdoor lights i’ve bought.they give off a bright white light and they stay on long after other lights have retired for the evening. its 430 am here right now, and two of them are still glowing if only a little bit.i originally bought them with the intent of installing them on 4 fence posts BUT they are closer to 5 in x 5 in than 4 inches (which is the standard side of a fence post) so i don’t know if they would have worked…
DON’t THROW THOSE LIGHTS AWAY YET!!!! I was like most of you….Impressed with the lights at first (very bright, fits post perfectly, attractive, etc.). But like many buyers, the next year, most of them quit working. I couldn’t bring myself to throw them all away because of the money I invested. So I decided to do some trouble-shooting. After meter checks on the components and switches, I decided to tackle the battery connections. I used regular batteries to test them and I made sure there was no corrosion on the battery terminals…
