Had problem getting the end of the 300-LED string into the end connectors I built a lighting project with Hitlight strips and end connectors about three years ago and had 100% success making a total of 6 end connections. Fantastic idea but doesn’t work well – save yourself the headache and solder the connections I recently did some extremely cheap under cabinet lighting using a roll of some pretty standard white LED strip lights. Having never soldered before, I was looking for a product that would get me through connecting the led strips across the cabinets. I also found that the wire connector/conductor is fairly large in size on one side of the cut but pretty darn small on the other I find them difficult to use. Aligning + with + is not difficult. But the flat wire goes under the metal holder in the connector. I found that these were always too tight to slide the light ribbon under. So I had to CAREFULLY lift up the holder to loosten it a bit.I also found that the wire connector/conductor is fairly large in size on one side of the cut but pretty darn small on the other side.
