Our MaxxHaul Spare Tire Carrier quickly mounts to the tongue of your trailer to handle your trailer spare tire of up to 100 Pounds in weight. It holds 4-lug (4 on 4″ bolt pattern) and 5-lug (5 on 4-1/2″ bolt pattern) trailer wheels. Please note that it is not compatible with 5 on 4-3/4″ or 5 on 5″ bolt pattern.

Compared to other offerings costing two or three times the cost of this MaxxHaul product, this is a great deal. It is sturdy, and the hardware is metric 8.8. It is also powder coated, so rust should not be an issue. The only difficulty is the loose mount wheel attachment studs; I used JB Weld to affix the studs (carriage bolts) to the bracket, making it a breeze to hang the spare on for running up the included lug nuts.
