Great so far So far this thing is great. If it doesn’t hold up to the weather, I will update later on. I didn’t go for the cheapest ones and I thought they would leak, and this one is not the most expensive. Seems to be in the middle somewhere. It is super bright and does the job. The wiring harness is great how it is plug and play. I used ‘Auxmart 30″ single row led light bar hidden grille mounts bracket” to mount it on my 2013 F-150 ecoboost…
Disappointing By actual measurement, one of these lights drew 1.15 amps from my 12.5V power supply. That calculates out to 14.375 watts apiece, a far cry from the advertised 60W. Thinking that they may be unregulated, and therefore throw more light at a higher voltage, I tweaked my power supply up to 13.5V, and the current draw went DOWN….clearly, they’re regulated, at much less power than advertised. Yeah, they seemed to be fairly “bright” compared to some things, but they’re not going to light up…
