Questionable replacements for Cast Landscape lighting Bought for my underwall lights (search: CAST Classic Engineered Wall Light). Replaced the T10’s that were there (and mostly burned out). They fit fine and are brighter than the 40W bulbs they replaced. Despite using these in an 12V AC system, they are performing quite well. When you are close (inches away), you can see the 60 cycle flicker, but at any normal distance, it is not noticable. Due to the low wattage of these bulbs, I’m planning on adding some more circuits on my transformer…
These are great replacements for the standard incandescent bulbs. I have a long run going around the perimeter of my backyard (over 120 feet), and the lights at the end of the run were very dim, but with these LED replacements, they are just as bright as those lights at the beginning of the run. Because of the low wattage draw, not only are the 18 perimeter lights brighter, but I also change out the 6 20W incandescent flood lights on my trees with the 5W LED lights which are brighter and…
