Great bulb at 6 volts – not 12 volts! So, these bulbs have NO markings on them to describe what voltage is required. The product description states 10-30 volt ac/dc. Several other sellers sell what appear to be the same bulb, and describe them as 12 volt. I installed the first of my two bulbs using 12 volt DC. Awesome effect and brightness for 12 volts I bought both the 1800k and the 2000k versions. The 1800k is your go-to “fire orange” color, however this bulb flickers at about 1/2 the rate of the 2000k bulb, which is a brighter, whiter hue.
