Great aquarium plant growth Testing the 30W daylight as an aquarium light on a 40 gallon, planted Walstad tank.So far the plants seem to love it, and the growth has been much more lush with larger leaves, thicker too. The red toned plants such as bacopa and rotala rotundifolia had stayed green up until I added this light to the tank lighting array. GREAT for WINTERING HOUSE PLANTS! I love this light. More importantly, my plants love it. I live in an apartment with no Southern exposure. In the summer the plants are out on the patio living it up, but in the winter I have to put them inside. I put them in the biggest window we have, but it is East facing and there is an overhang.
