Just as bright as a 50 watt 12 volt hallogens We have eight recessed soffit lights around a building at my church that had been using 50 watt halogen MR16 bulbs. Even though they are 12 volts, pulling 50 watt generates a lot of heat. The porcelain sockets and wires into the sockets were prone to burning out. Best Chinese LED bulb manufacturer I tried many of the new Chinese LED bulbs on amazon, and I can say that SHINE HAI is the best. The 2700K color, the spread of the light, the luminance, and the construction. The other guys are just not bright enough, or they are the wrong color (too white), or they are DOA.
