Excellent build quality These bulbs appear to be well made. They installed easily into the fixtures. I replaced halogen bulbs, so the lower operating temperature is welcome. And the low power consumption is a bonus. The bulbs I purchased are 6000K. The halogens were much cooler (yellow). For a work area, this whiter light works nicely. In a living room application, I would recommend the 3000K version.I expect the life of these bulbs to be significantly longer than the halogens; these are mounted in fixtures…
In this case I purchased these MR16 Bright/Dimmable LED Light bulbs to Save Money as well as Brighten-up our cooktop area. The factory recommendations limit the halogen light bulbs to a MAX of 35 WATTS each, but I wanted brighter so by switching to these low wattage LED bulbs, I was able to achieve that goal of getting BRIGHTER with less wattage!
