I like traditional incandescent color ranges of soft white (2700K) or halogen (3000K), so I chose this bulb in its Soft White (2700K) variant. Make sure you pick the version with the light color temperature you want. Personally, I find Cool White (3500K) (for an office/garage) or Daylight (5000K) to be way to harsh for my preferences in my home, in places where I have light fixtures that takes candelabra bulbs.
