Pretty Darn Good Light First, I really didn’t expect this light to be bright as the sun, or even as bright as a 110-VAC unit. But it’s not too far away from it. I have no use for the holster-like attachment, as I mounted a string of these under kitchen cabinets to light up our countertops. They work very well on the high setting, and provide a mood lighting effect on low. Does the Job This little light is pretty handy. It was easy to interpret the mounting procedure and it works for my purposes. I have it under a cabinet that is about 5ft wide, and at the ends of the cabinet are a wall and a refrigerator. Given that the cabinet is in kind of a closed off area, I thought the light would be really birght, as it would be more contained. But it’s really kind dim, even on the brightest setting. Are you feelin’ lucky?!? LIKES: I will say that one very cool feature of these light strips is that you can choose to use either 3 or 6 AA batteries (brightness is not affected, only the length of time until you have to do a battery change).
