The latest DA series by Beamworks provides a high quality, energy efficient light fixture that replaces the typical single or dual tube fluorescent lights. This plant version is fitted with 6500K spectrum LEDs that are commonly used for planted freshwater setups. LEDs are fitted in a sleek and razor-thin fixture that will make any other aquarium light look boring. Long lasting LEDs with no bulb replacement required. Fixture is pre-wired for use with the optional timer module to program on and off times.

Great light for low to medium plants! I bought this light to replace an old Coralife T5 fixture. The Coralife is just a regular T5, not HO. I was hoping for a major upgrade at best and a decent replacement at worst. This light is definitely a major upgrade over 2 regular T5’s. It has the equivalent wattage of about 2 T8 lights and about 1.5 T5 HO lights.The product is very well made for the price. I bought the 48″ light so there is quite a bit of flex in the middle of it.
