Careful– not for use in sewing machine It is possible these were not the correct bulbs for my application. I bought these to use in a Singer sewing machine to replace the old, scorching hot incandescent bulb. One of these did not work at all, and the other popped and sparked when plugged in (and still did not light up). The bulb has a burn spot on the base where I assume this happened. A great update from the tungsten over the bed reading lights on my RV! I live in a trailer and my bathroom lights are two #1076 Bulbs, and I used to buy a box of ten incandescent bulbs at time & replace them as they burned out (usually after about five months ea) It took a long time to go thru that box of ten bulbs, but I finally got down to my last few bulbs and I was about to spend $$ for another box of ten when I realized for about the same price (actually it was a little cheaper with the free Amazon prime shipping) I could get two LED bulbs that will NOT burn…
