Great….after reworking pin ends These arrived on time and worked as advertised. I gave them a 2 because the pin ends were cut flat and not rounded like the halogen bulbs they replaced. This created sharp edges that dug into the socket terminals instead of sliding in smoothly. After failing to get any of the first 5 bulbs in any of several sockets and breaking a lead on one bulb I ran the pins of the rest of the bulbs across a fine flat file about 50 x’s to create a wedge on the two sides that would touch the socket…
Great replacement for halogen bulbs for use at full power, but produce a moonlight white color when dimmed At full power, these LEDs are an excellent replacement for the halogen bulbs that were in the same fixture (under-counter kitchen lighting). I could not really notice a difference. However, when dimmed, the difference is very noticeable. The halogens glow orangy when dimmed. In contrast, these have a stark white color that I would describe as “moonlight”. You could also compare the color produced when they are dimmed to the light you typically associate with a fluorescent light bulb…
