Review for 4 watt version – Good light, dims ok, equivalence to 30 watt halogen These came in a reasonable time and installed easily. They are slightly larger/longer, however it is not a major problem for most fitments. The LED light elements are on both sides of the silicon incased unit. The nice thing about them is that they operate much cooler than halogen bulbs, also the light quality is good and warm, although unlike halogen bulbs which as you reduce the voltage become even “warmer” in color, these LEDs remain about the same colour as they dim. These bulbs are…
I have been searching for LED replacements for halogen bulbs for an overhead range. I have tried several different brands before purchasing these, and unfortunately these are the worst because of the significant flicker. Note that the bulb housings that I tried these in are ~non-dimming~, so the flicker is not because they are being used with a non-compatible dimmer. In addition, though these bulbs have the highest wattage rating of the LED bulbs I’ve tried (a 3W and a 3.5W), these bulbs are…
I bought these to increase lumens in under cabinet puck lighting. I was worried they wouldn’t fit, but they did just barely. The color is much warmer than my current Weenas 3 watt 2700 K LED bulbs. I do prefer the warmer color. There is noticeable inconsistency in color from bulb to bulb. I’m estimating color ranging from 2200 to 2600K. I can live with it under the cabinet though. These 4 watt bulbs are also a bit brighter in lumens, adding the extra light I need. The real problem I encountered…
