The Battery Guard technology on the Coleman 50M LED Flashlight stops battery drain, so you’ll have power when you need it the most. Conventional flashlights experience residual drain as long as the battery is connected in the circuit, even when the light is powered off. When you switch off your Coleman flashlight, Battery Guard technology completely disengages the battery to maintain brightness twice as long, and extend battery life by 25%. It also reduces damaging corrosion, so batteries can be stored in your flashlight for years. The flashlight upholds its durability with a strong aluminum exterior and rubber-edged bezel that’s water and impact resistant to falls of up to two meters. With a long-lasting battery and an enduring exterior, you can trust that this high-powered flashlight will be ready for anything, even when you’re not.

Great, but big and beefy for household use. I also own the 250 M, which uses AAA batteries. i bought the 300 M because I thought the Low setting would be about right at 10 lumens. It is. The low setting on the 250 M is too dim for my taste. The downside of the 300 M is that it’s a bear of a flashlight. It’s 7-9/16 inches long, 1-9/16 to 1-5/8 inches on the barrel, and 2-11/16 inch at the lens end. It’s beefy and fairly hefty. Construction quality and hand feel are top notch. It has a good, solid switch. It’s honestly the best…
very bright really low
Nice flashlight, atrocious packaging
