Works well for a few plants. This light works well for a single row of plants or half box of seedlings. I plant 4 tomato seeds in November for a March planting and as they grow I move them from 1″ seed starters to 2″ intermediate pots to 1 gal pots. This light has enough to successfully move the 4 plants through all stages and help produce healthy plants (not long spindly plants).
