If you buy multiple, you will be able to connect them together with daisy chaining. For max yield, make sure to place fixture 3-4 inches above the plants. Fluorescent fixtures do not get hot enough to damage the plant with heat. Included in Package: 4ft 3-lamp T5 light-weight grow fixture, Qty3 F54T5HO 6,500 kelvin blue-white veg lamps, 8-foot power cable – also useful for daisy chaining. Great light unit, very good price. This unit is so light compared to the other brands. It looked flimsy at first but that’s all you need in a light once it’s installed. The hood reflects light out to cover more area than those name brands that I purchased. The light bulbs are so bright that I have to unscrew one bulb to reduce light intensity for my plants need but there are still so much light intensity for me to cover 5 trays of 10X20 of coleus. They are loving it. I can tell it’s going to be an excellent light fixture…
I love this Grow Light, and so do my orchids! New growth coming on rapidly in only 2 weeks, AND with only 2 of the 3 lights currently in place. (Had to have a replacement light sent to me, because of breakage in transit). Incidentally, the company sent out the replacement in record time.
