Very thin glass, one bulb out of six was broken I installed these in a bathroom fixture with opaque white glass shades. The bulbs are shorter than the incandescents they replaced, so the tips are not visible, not a big deal for our application. The bulbs show very, very slight shadow lines through the shades, where incandescent bulbs did not. However, the lighting level is equivalent to the sixty watt bulbs they replaced.One side effect of LED technology – the old incandescent bulbs generated enough heat to prevent the bathroom…
