Great emergency radio and flashlight! This is a great emergency radio and flashlight. Much brighter flashlight than expected. The crank works smoothly. I am not sure how long it would take to crank enough to sustain the flashlight for a ling time, but in a pinch, it would do the job. Perfect Emergency Radio Emergency radios are just as the name implies….for emergencies. These type devices rarely perform any of their tasks as well as single purpose units do. The radio works perfectly but of course does not sound as good as a stand alone AM/FM stereo.
