These are great bulbs for a somewhat odd base size. I replaced the traditional filament bulbs on several outdoor light strings with these. When the test batch came, I was a little concerned – they are a slightly smaller diameter globe and have a strange resistor and yellow filament-style arrangement that I had to research to understand – but in use, they are great. The globe size is still a good proportion for the string sockets. The globes are tough plastic so I’m less concerned about…
