4000 lumens is bright! Update (1 year + 10 months): One of the three bulbs I originally purchased has failed; one strip of LEDs strobes when the bulb is powered. The wiring was bad so I rewired the light fixtures I bought these for two reasons. 1st: I own a small church with 26 foot cathedral ceilings, I had to purchase a Giant Skyscraper ladder to reach the lights and ceiling, the ladder is heavy so I did not want to change the light bulbs more than once in my lifetime.
