This rust-resistant cast-aluminum solar lantern, which features the attractive design of a 19th-century gas lamp with a powder-coated black finish and real beveled glass panes, comes with all the hardware for mounting the unit as an outdoor wall sconce; on flat surfaces, such as pillars or columns; or at the top of a three-inch-diameter lamp post. No electrical wiring is needed. Just install the light fixture, and let the sun do the rest. The Victorian’s internal Lithium Ion battery pack charges when sunlight hits the fixture’s integrated solar panel. At dusk, 13 bright-white LEDs will turn on automatically and shine at 100 lumens. Output brightens to 200 lumens for 45 seconds when the motion sensor detects movement up to 20 feet away. Gama Sonic’s patented cone reflector enhances the glow and multidirectional light dispersal. The unit is designed for dusk-to-dawn operation after its battery has been fully charged during the day.
