I have installed dozens of under cabinet lights and have never encountered one like this. Once the light was installed I wish I could rate this light in two ways. One star for installation. like the light but not install I have installed four 24″ and one 18″ lights and really like the performance of the lights. As to whether they last the advertised 50,000 hr remains to be seen. If the lights were on continuously, the 50,000 hr translates to 5.7 years. If they were on 1/3 of the time, then they should last 17.1 years. I felt like the installation should have gone much smoother. The first major hurdle was removing the LED assembly from the housing. Since I was unsuccessful, I call the customer service…
Very bright, warm light. Easy install for me. I was hesitant about buying this light because of reviews saying the install was very difficult, but it was a breeze for me.
