GE Grow Light LED with Balanced Light Spectrum for Seeds and Greens is designed to fit your plant’s growth stage. GE’s Grow Light uses a balanced spectrum with a red: blue ratio inspired by best practices of professional growers. The balanced spectrum allows not only chlorophyll but also other plant pigments to optimize their light harvesting. Compared to typical purple grow lights, the light features high PPF or Photosynthetic Photon Flux to provide more light for photosynthesis and growth. The white light appears more natural to the human eye, so you can appreciate your plant’s beauty and spot pests or discolorations to help keep your plants healthy. Use the Balanced Light Spectrum with high light plants like tomatoes and peppers and low light plants like leafy greens and herbs throughout their growing cycle.

If you’re curious and/or confused about the PPF numbers I’m about to add to your confusion.. I’m giving a preliminary 5 stars because it’s bright AF but I’m not sure how I’m going to utilize it yet.Now for the headaches… I bought the 2ft, PPF 72 40 watt for my clone machine. It’s low heat and the plants really respond to it over florescent, so I decided to buy this Par38 bulb and see what the difference is and I couldn’t be more confused.. The Par38 is 30 watts and PPF 50 which in my head equals not as bright and even less heat but like I said, it’s bright AF and also puts out…
