These are cheap so I can’t complain too much. … These are cheap so I can’t complain too much. They do have decent light output. Color is OK but a bit colder than expected. Problems are that the roll had many splices, so if you are counting on exact dimensions, the splices throw everything off. Also, the splices create lumps which make the strip pop up and not stick down as well. I cleaned aluminum bars with acetone before mounting these and the strips still pop up in spots. Of course this defeats the heat sinking I was hoping on getting…
Poor quality control Finally got my kitchen remodel finished (a few weeks later than expected). I installed the light strip in an aluminum channel and used the 10mm connectors to power two sides of the counter. Connectors are easy to use BTW. When I powered up the light strips I found half of one of the the strips didn’t light up! The section closest to the power connection worked fine. In the middle of a strip of LEDs are dead to the end of the strip. Unfortunately, I’m past the time for a return. Don’t want to…
Very disappointed even for a cheaper product Very disappointed even for a cheaper product. I bought 9 reels of these. I installed 3 reels, and it occured to me that had better test them before i went further. The LEDs within each strip are different colors, ranging from warm white 2800k, to a cooler white 3400k and one even had a random purple LED in the strip. It also appeared that some of the strips were hobbled together, using pieces to make a full length. Ripping out what was installed now, and need to replace with a better product…
