Beware according to label these are not IC rated! I had put in some deep set downlights in my kitchen and it left dark(er) spots up high and they were too focused low. I put these that have a more shallow bezel in and the whole kitchen lit up much better.The light is very white (3000k) but not glaring. They dim beautifully with a Lutron 150 series dimmer. Do not order these as they are not IC rated according to the label inside the light. I installed 24 of them as a diy project and then had an electrician friend of mine come out and comment that the housing was white which based on US code is non-IC rated meaning it cannot come in contact with insulation. Sure enough I took one of the lights down and saw right on the label that the lights state on the housing, NON-IC rated. This is a huge issue and liability as there is the potential for a…
