Excellent Bright White Color (not blue or yellow) Excellent Bright White Color (not blue or yellow) in these 4000K bulbs. I needed 4 bulbs for two flush mount ceiling lights fixtures in a very dark interior hallway & 2 for the over the kitchen sink light fixture. None of which needed to be dimmable. In the kitchen I had installed 6 BR30 dimmable 4000K bulbs in recessed ceiling light fixtures. I see no difference in the color rendering between the two types of kitchen bulbs.
