Our red tea kettle is red again! Love these lights and colors look terrific. Bought 4 Hyperikon LED BR30 12W 3000K bulbs for kitchen recessed ceiling cans to replace failing 26W CFLs. Also got some 12W 4000K to compare the color. My wife and I like the 3000K way better with our natural wood cabinets & flooring — buying more soon. 4000K is noticeably brighter and it’s closer to a cool blueish-white which made kitchen colors look more washed out. Both types are surprisingly bright for 12W, but with 3000K it’s still comfortable…
Not compatible with Lutron Caseta dimmers as of March 2017 Unlike many other LED bulbs (as well as other sizes/shapes of 3000k LED 92-95 CRI bulbs Hyperikon sells), these particular 92+ CRI BR30 bulbs have a driver that is incompatible with Lutron Caseta dimmers. Anyone with a Lutron Smart Home uses Caseta dimmers. I have 3 circuits with three Lutron Caseta dimmers (model Lutron PD-6WCL-WH) and all three circuits misbehave with Hyperikon’s 3000k 92+CRI bulbs that I ordered in early March 2017.
