Work well – preferred the 18W version Remodeling a basement and wasn’t sure which LED bulb so i bought several to compare. The PAR38 light dispersion was too focused for lighting a room – more of a spotlight than a floodlight. Tried a 75W BR40 2700K. The light dispersion was significantly better (120 degrees vs 40 for the PAR38). However, the low “temperature” was too yellow/orange for my taste and the 75W wasn’t enough to adequately light a larger area. This bulb was perfect. I was able to space them 8-10 feet apart…
Almost perfect, sadly the catch can be quite expensive… Excellent, bright natural light. The CRI rating does matter – some other lights I’ve tried have an odd, green hue which LED me to give these a shot (sorry). I have both 2700k and 3000k versions of these bulbs and they are both pleasant and spot on. These lights are very bright and seem true to their 1400 lumen rating. As always, there’s a catch. The reason for the 4 star rating is that the bulbs will buzz noticeably when used with your typical 30 dollar Lutron CL (CFL and LED)…
I’ve spent some nice $$ looking for the right lighting I even asked … I’ve spent some nice $$ looking for the right lighting I even asked my electrician but its been all trial and error and a lot more error. We recently added about 700sf to our house and remodeled the kitchen and all with can lighting. We tried so many different lights so I decided to go on line see what everyone says and what better place than Amazon. One guy had this unbelievable study with light comparisons on a string of lights and that is how I came about to this light bulb. This by far…
