High quality construction, great warranty, BRIGHT I’m a light bulb lover. I own a lot of LED bulbs and can’t seem to stop buying them. I bought the 80 watt version of this bulb. I replaced an old metal halide bulb. The metal halide bulb uses the same E39 screw base. My old fixture has a ballast that needs to be bypassed. I’m really disappointed in this LED light when you look at the … I’m really disappointed in this LED light when you look at the bulb compared to the 400 watt metal halide bulb it appears brighter but when you look at the actual output compared to the metal halide bulb it is considerably duller, I really feel like it’s the donut design on the end of the bulb at which I believe creates a dark spot, as you look at the pictures that I’ve posted the one with the ladder is the LED bulb, the middle picture is the LED bulb the LED bulb is located in the center…
