Very Bright, Exactly What I Wanted This unit really lights up the closet. My original ceiling contractor unit had a 23-watt 1600 lumen compact fluorescent in it that just wasn’t enough up there on a 10-foot ceiling.This 16″ light has an LED array on a flat panel that consumes 35 watts and outputs 3120 lumens at 3000 K white, which isn’t as cool white as the compact fluorescent. More light for less power I purchased 2 of the 35 watt 3000K fixtures to replace fixtures that each used two 60 watt halogen bulbs. The Hyperikon’s installed easily with the option to mount with 2 screws to the electrical box, or 3 screws spaced evenly near the rim of the fixture, which is what I did.
