Great product but…… We ordered nine bulbs from a different company and they were way too small. Sent those back and ordered these. Shipping was quick, packaging was fine and all eight lights screwed in and worked. The light color is more bluish white than I anticipated but in all fairness, it is a much better color than the traditional bulbs these replaced. We have 8 recessed “cans” in the kitchen that don’t like bulb heat and tend to get warm. With these, those days are gone. We have two more bulbs…
Good customer service in support of a failed product *** The original text of my review is included below:I’m not happy with these lights. I installed 10 of these throughout my kitchen in recessed housings just about 3 months ago. One bulb has already died, and two more have started flickering, so I expect to lose those soon as well. The bulbs seem to giving off a fair amount of heat – perhaps they aren’t really intended for use in recessed housings, and the heat build up is killing them sooner than their expected lifespan…
Eight of Eight Bulbs Dead Within Year After Minimal Use I ordered eight of these bulbs September 2015 for installation in outside fixtures (not exposed to water).
