Compared to 1790 Lume The way I usually shop for lights is by Lumens. I found it to be the best way to find out how bright a lighted bulb or an LED lighting fixture is. This light is 1240 Lumens and the one I replaced was a 1790 Lumens Halogen PAR38 Flood Light Bulb. I believe you should get a LED over Halogen, if your replacing a motion sensor flood light that turns off after a few minutes, especially if you live in a place with low temperatures.
