For the price, they don’t hold up well or last long These work well however we had to use our own screws to secure them on the post base. The color of them also faded very quickly and now they like more like a light beige than goldEditWe have had these lights for a year. They look horrible. The color is completely faded and the solar panel on the top has this nasty residue on top of it that won’t come off. Decent, but……….. I don’t write product reviews often. Only when something is exceptional, or is marginal do I write one.The packaging was good, and shipping was quick. Over all the lights looked good and seem fairly robust.The reason I rate these as marginal is they don’t mount very well. I installed these on 4X4 post tops around my deck. The base itself is fine, being held down with small what appear to be stainless steel screws, the light itself however, just sits on the base. No discernible…
good – but issues Look good and bright but …I agree with other reviewers that there should be some attachment from the light to the base. I drilled two extra holes in the base to screw the upper to the base so they wouldn’t blow off. The don’t fit very tightly to a standard 4X4 post. I used a couple of screws to connect to the post but they still aren’t stable. I should use a third screw so they don’t seem unstable.I had one unit in the last couple of days that stopped lighting. I worked on it…
