Very bright! Great quality, very bright. My jungle val has taken off since I put it on. Two things, though. One is that it does not fit rim of your standard aqueon tank. I didn’t measure mine before I bought it, I figured I could rig it. And it does sit on there just fine, but I’m sure if it were bumped it would fall in. Had dying plants, this revived them all. Was new to having live plants in a tank. I have a 3 gallon betta tank kit that came with a light, needless to say, that light sucked, and all my plants were turning brown and dying. because the tank is on a shelf that is blocked from lots of sunlight most of the day, these plants needed a reliable source of GOOD quality light.
