CAUTION: VERY FRAGILE This is a great light. It provides a pleasantly bright white light. Pretty much like daylight. I gave 5 stars for functionality. HOWEVER, a word of caution: These bulbs are QUITE DELICATE! If you are just screwing them in a socket they should be fine. I installed these bulbs in a ceiling fan light.
