Absolutely one of your best upgrades! These are absolutely one of the best upgrades you can buy for your fog lights! I have a 2013 Lexus ES 350 so I had to lower the corner of the unnderbody plastic engine cover to access the fog light housing. Just four 10mm bolts — nothing to it. I simply detached the socket, twisted out the H16 bulb (type 2 with 90 degree outlet), installed the JDM replacements, re-attached the socket, and voila! beautiful bright-white light! Fantastic product. A lot brighter than stock yellow fog lights…
Not bad! Okay so I ordered these fully understanding what they are, and I hope you do too. If you are looking for forward projecting LED’s that are similar to headlights these are NOT what you want. For that you want a proper LED headlight with a LED driver, typically these cost $90+ and have a passive or fan powered heatsink.For those of you like me, who want a fog light that produces light in all directions similar to a flood lamp, these are definitely for you!
