Night and day upgrade from flourescent! I replaced part of my existing 4ft and 8ft T12 fluorescent lighting in my garage with these LED T8 equivalents. The difference is, without question, noteworthy! These guys are BRIGHT! Exactly what you need in a garage/shop environment. Great bulbs. I am very happy with these lights. I replaced old T12s and they are much brighter and cleaner looking than the old ones. Even though frosted, the tube surface area is much less than the fat T8 T12 so they will definitely appear brighter to look at directly.I recommend frosted as it diffuses the strip of pinpoint lights that the distributed LEDs create.This light is a bit blue but less so than 6500K and is great for garage.
