Works well and light output looks like incandescent light Arrived unbroken and all 6 are working. They are not hot to the touch and you can unscrew them when on if needed. I compared to existing incandescent 25 watt and 40 watt bulbs and the light output on my hand was the same tone (warm glow). My other bulbs were so hot to the touch I could not touch them at all. Immediate brightness. I really like the LED better than the florescent. These are great This is my first foray in to the LED world and it worked out great. I have a 6 bulb chandelier that had regular incandescent flame like bulbs in them and I switched them out with these (since they were about to die anyway and had darkened at the tips) and I find that these are much brighter. I might even say too bright for over my breakfast room table but I have a dimmer and so I just dimmed them a bit and they are perfect.
