The lenses are otherwise useless with these LEDs Used to replace 8 halogen bulbs in my kitchen counter lighting. This decreased wattage consumption from 200W to 16W. Pleased with energy savings and light. Replaced 12 halogen 20w bulbs in dimmable kitchen accent lights. Installation was a little tricky as these bulbs are larger diameter and length, but with gentle persuasion, they slid into place and allowed the puck covers to be tightened down. I did have some flickering at first on the high dimmer setting, but it seems to have gone away.
